This web site is dedicated with great respect to the memory of those who have given their lives in the service of others.

Occupations held by our volunteers include electricians, truck drivers, public works employees, machine operators, office clerical workers, food service workers, retail workers, nurses, physical therapists, police officers, and many others. They all work full time to support themselves and their families and volunteer their free time, whatever they can spare, to protect the lives and property of the community that they call home. IF THEY CAN DO IT, SO CAN YOU!

YOU DON'T NEED TO FIGHT FIRES TO SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY! As a volunteer, you can serve your local fire department in a variety of important ways other than by fighting fires.
