Our current equipment


The 1987 Seagrave Aerial, the 1998 Freightliner/EVI Rescue and the 2000 Seagrave Pumper are our three currently active (in service) pieces of fire apparatus. Listed below is some more information about those pieces and the equipment they carry.

Ladder 64: 1987 Seagrave Quint, used for fire attack, aerial operations, high-angle rescue and structural rescue. Turbo-charged Detroit Diesel engine with Allison automatic transmission. Water flow: 1500 Gallon-Per-Minute (GPM) pump, a 300-gallon tank, three pre-connected crosslays, three "high-rise packs," pre-piped waterway with remote-controlled nozzle, dual 3" accordion-packed hose beds, a rear discharge which can also be switched to directly feed the waterway, various hose coupling adapters and nozzles. Ladders: 100' medium-heavy duty aerial, hydraulic powered with electric and manual backups. Full complement of ground and roof ladders ranging from 10' collapsible ladder to 40' extension ladder with tormentor poles. Power equipment: Onan 12-Kilowatt diesel generator, two truck-mounted electric cord reels with electric rewind and four-way lighted splitter boxes, truck-mounted and portable quartz lights, battery-powered hand lights, K1200 rescue saw, Cutters Edge ventilation saw, two smoke ejectors, dry chemical and pressurized water extinguishers, seven Scott air packs, nine spare composite 2216-psi air cylinders, high-band VHF two-way radio and high-band portable radios. Non-powered equipment: Turnout gear, axes, Halligan bars, pike poles from 6' to 12', salvage covers, work rope, and various hand tools and water flow adapters.


Engine 64: (Partial information) 2000 Seagrave Pumper, used for water supply, attack of small brush, trash or vehicle fires, foam, support/assist EMS. Water flow: Waterous 2-stage 1500-GPM pump, 500-gallon tank, 40-gallon onboard foam tank, 1,000 feet 5" supply line, 1,000 feet 3" supply line, 300 feet preconnected 3" "alley pack" with gated Y at end, one 2-1/2" preconnected attack line (200 feet), two 1-3/4" preconnected attack lines (200 feet each), one 1-1/2" preconnected "trash" line (100 feet, front mounted), 5 intakes, 11 discharges total. Ladders: One ground ladder and one roof ladder, exact sizes to be posted in the near future. Power equipment: AMPS 8KW PTO generator, four 1,000-watt mounted quartz scene lights, seven Scott air packs with composite 2216-psi cylinders, high band VHF two-way mobile radio and portable radios. Non-powered equipment: Axes, Halligan bars, various water flow adapters.

Rescue 64: 1998 Freightliner/EVI Rescue Truck, used for vehicle rescue, high angle/rope rescue, confined space rescue, command post, communication center, electrical generation, lighting, supply and replenishment of breathing and work air, carrying spare equipment, transporting manpower, and rehab. Turbo-charged Cummins diesel engine with Allison automatic transmission. Water flow: Hydrant garden hose adapter, hydrant wrench. Ladders: Collapsible A-frame ladder. Powered equipment: (More info to be added soon!) 25-Kilowatt Winco PTO generator, two front-mounted 750-watt telescoping quartz lights, two rear-mounted removable dual 600-watt quartz lights, two free-standing quartz lights, two rear compartment-mounted 250' electric cord reels with electric rewind and 4-way lighted splitter boxes, battery-powered hand lights, fire police style flashlights with orange traffic-control cones, breathing air cascade system with four 6000 psi cylinders and a 250' breathing air hose reel with electric rewind for confined space operations, three Scott Ska-Paks with 5-minute cylinders (for use with breathing air extension line in confined spaces or other unusual circumstances), two Cairns air packs with voice amplifiers and automatic PASS devices, four spare composite 2216-psi cylinders, high-band VHF two-way radio in front and back, low-band VHF two-way radio in front and back, mounted cellular phone, portable cellular phone, cellular fax, electronic wind speed and direction indicator, Positive-Pressure Ventilation (PPV) fan, chainsaw, Prosser pump, deodorizer, water-vacs, refrigerator, rear-mounted video camera with display screen on dashboard for backing up. Non-powered equipment: Closet hook, shovels, street brooms, squeegees, folding command table and magnetic easel, come-along devices with chain and cable, cribbing, sledge hammers, salvage covers, portable electric cord reels, rescue rope, high-angle rescue equipment, drinking water, towels, hazardous materials leak plug kit, oil dry, traffic cones, road flares and various hand tools.
